Typically, bran muffins leave something to be desired. Most of the recipes I've found really aren't all that healthy for you, (lots of fats, sugar etc.) or they taste like card board.
This morning, I fiddled around a bit and concocted a recipe that wasn't "bad" but I think it can be better.
It had dates, apples, walnuts, sunflower seeds, flax seed, oat bran, wheat bran, wheat germ and non-fat yogurt.
While I'm not ready to go ahead and publish this recipe just yet I wanted you all to know what I'm working on. Check back in a couple of days and see if I've gotten it figured out!
Oh, by the way, I'm working on making yogurt this week as well! I'll let you know how that goes.
