Tip of the Day: Go through your medicine cabinet, drawer, box... whatever you keep your medicine in. Throw out all expired medicines. Organize according to the following:
1. Cold & Flu/Allergy
2. Prescription
3.Asthma supplies (inhalers, nebulizer supplies, blow meter etc.)
4. First Aid supplies (band aids, antibiotic ointment, gauze pads, tape, hot/cold packs, etc.)
5. Misc. (stomach aids like antacids, Dramamine, Pepto, Gas X, Phenargen, Immodium etc.
6. Pain Relievers: Advil, Motrin, Tylenol, Aspirin
I keep everything in clear plastic shoe boxes. Each box is labeled. They are easily stacked and located on a shelf in a closet away from pets and little people. While you're at it why not take inventory of what you are running low of or don't have on hand. Add these items to your grocery list for the next trip to the store.
